Version of 1 October 2026, revised the same day. This English version is provided for information: in case of difference, the French version prevails.
LegalBens is a legal information assistant for Moroccan law. It helps you understand your situation from the texts of law, cites its sources and tells you what you can do.
LegalBens is not a lawyer. It does not give legal advice within the meaning of the rules of the legal profession and does not represent you. For a dispute already under way, a criminal case or an important decision, consult a professional registered with their bar or order.
Answers are based on published official texts, in particular on the Ministry of Justice portal. Most have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer: each source says so, and each answer shows its level of reliability.
The law is never translated into English: the texts are quoted as they are officially published, in Arabic or French, the Arabic version being authoritative. Only LegalBens's explanations are in English.
An answer may be incomplete, or fail to take into account a recent text or a court decision. Check the version of the text and the date shown before acting.
The documents, letters and templates prepared by LegalBens are drafts. Reread them, and have a professional review them before any important use.
You sign in with a passkey: Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint or your device passcode. LegalBens only knows the public key; the secret key never leaves your device. No password is created or stored.
What LegalBens processes. Your questions and the answers; if you have an account, the name you give, your cases, your deadlines and the documents you choose to keep; technical data needed for the service (see “Cookies”).
Why. To answer you, keep your cases, and protect the service against abuse. This processing is based on your consent, given on this screen, and on providing the service you ask for.
Without an account. The text of your question is not kept. Only a technical trace of the answer is (texts consulted, reliability), without identifying you.
Who is involved. The application and its database are hosted by Railway (United States). To answer you, your questions are analysed by the artificial intelligence models of OpenAI and Anthropic (United States). Your data therefore leaves Morocco; it is encrypted in transit.
If you report an error. The review team reads the answer concerned, without your name. Your question is only shared if you tick the box provided; in LegalBens Pro, neither is the full answer (professional secrecy): without your consent, only the texts cited are shared.
Protection against abuse. The number of questions per day is limited (30 without an account, 150 with one). If a question looks like an attempt to misuse LegalBens (obtaining its internal instructions, copying its texts in bulk), an extract of at most 300 characters is kept for 90 days for review by the team. No suspension is automatic: it is decided by a person, dated, and announced to you.
What LegalBens does not do. Your data is not sold, is not used for advertising, and LegalBens does not use it to train models.
Your data, online. From your profile (“Your data”), you can see what LegalBens knows about you and who it is shared with, download all your data, and ask for your account to be deleted: this is done within 30 days. The service's security log, which cannot be altered, keeps a record of past operations, including part of their content; the rules for erasing it are being defined.
Your rights. You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing, by writing to LegalBens (contact below): answer within 30 days. You can also contact the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP, cndp.ma). LegalBens's declaration to the CNDP is in preparation.
LegalBens uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement. Only two cookies:
Your device also keeps a few preferences (space chosen, agreement to these terms).
LegalBens strives to give accurate, sourced answers, without being able to guarantee that they are complete or suited to your case. A decision taken solely on the basis of a LegalBens answer remains yours.
